A drone that can kill?

Companies like Amazon are taking huge leaps forwards by being able to deliver packages by flight. (I don’t know whether they’ll be able to find my helipad though.) Jeff Bezos from Amazon said “One day Prime Air deliveries will be as common as seeing a mail truck,” in an interview with The Telegraph.

The American government have seen the potential into turning these harmless devices into something much more potent, something which could change combat for ever.

Police in North Dakota will soon be able to taser and tear gas people from the comfort of the police station using aerial drones thanks to a new law.The regulation has lawmakers worried that a more “depersonalized” policing strategy will cause problems, others are upset the law will tighten warrant restrictions for using the weaponized drones.

How long will it be until the gun problem America so clearly has, turns airborn?

Jon Becker, an american politician doesn’t seem overly keen on this new legislation. "This is one I’m not in full agreement with" "In my opinion there should be a nice, red line: drones should not be weaponized. Period."

I’ll have to agree with you there, Jon.
