“Remember remember the 4th November”, that’s how the saying goes, right? Right?? Well, it does for all of us at NowSignage after our incredible evening at the AV Awards on Friday 4th November at Evolution London.
When we heard, “And the winner is…. NOWSIGNAGE” for this year’s Digital Signage Technology of the Year 2022, to say we were overcome with almost every emotion imaginable would not be an exaggeration.
Nick Johnson, CEO at NowSignage, said:
“This one feels really special, and I know that it does for the rest of the team too. For those of you that know NowSignage, you’ll know that we really are a TEAM, all working together with one common focus to provide the ‘best’ CMS on the market. Becoming the ‘best’ takes hardwork and dedication, it has highs and lows, it requires costs and sacrifices, and the crazy thing is that it’s never truly achievable… and this is exactly what gets us all up in the morning!”
“Every day we push ourselves, push our team, and push our technology to be better, which is what makes days like this feel so special. There are many ways to measure success, but on Friday 4th November, gaining the recognition from an independent judging panel and a room full of our industry peers certainly made me feel overwhelmingly proud of what we’ve achieved as a TEAM.”

NowSignage is no stranger to the AV Awards, having picked up awards in both 2021 and 2020. If one is to use the Oscars as an analogy for the AV Awards, then one might describe our previous awards as “best supporting actor”, but for us this latest win very much feels like “Best Picture”, the Big One, The Main Event, you get the idea.
We like to think that we are very self-aware as a business, focusing on what we’re bad at. That’s what makes us improve year on year and helps us to keep innovating and pushing out world-class features.
Basically, we like to leave the focus on what we’re really good at to our customers and our partners, and this latest AV Award is the very pinnacle of such recognition. It was this recognition from our peers within the industry that was so special.
There was so much love in the room for us on Friday night and, believe us, we felt every bit of it. We had dozens of people from distributors, manufacturers, resellers and end users all rooting for us, and hearing the cheer of encouragement that went up as our name was read aloud, just as one of the finalists, is a moment we will never forget.
If we hadn’t won the award, then that already felt like a win, so thank you. (EDIT – scratch that, I think we all know that the win felt waaaaaay better!)
Anyway, if you know NowSignage, then you will know that we won’t dwell on this win for long.
We know that complacency is the enemy of innovation, so we are back to focusing on what we’re bad at as of today, Monday 7th November, and we intend to show our gratitude to every one of you who has supported us this last year by promising you an even better platform by the time the awards come around again next year. The roadmap is already in place and we can’t wait to show you.
